- Planning to be at SIGGRAPH? There will be a BoF session on WebGL; details here.
- The slides and videos for the first WebGL Camp in Europe are now online.
- Jos Dirksen has put together a visualisation of European interest rates during the recent financial crisis using Three.js.
- A neat new CubicVR.js demo from Charles Cliffe: a landscape editor (version with more space here).
- Another great demo from Felix Woitzel: a fluid simulation using 512k particles. (via WebGL.com)
- Here’s a great demo of the new OvoiD.js WebGL engine: Fireworks! (via WebGL.com)
- Another from WebGL.com: Dennis Levonenko’s Starris, “based on Space invader and Geometry wars”.
- Also via WebGL.com, “BreadShip is a WebGL game created by Jason (?) according to whom, it’s ‘an old game that I stopped working on. WASD to move, QE to roll, and right click to lock on to an enemy. Destroy 50 bosses to win.’”.
- ThreeFab is an online tool (kind of like a simplified Blender) for creating Three.js scenes, and Jeff Terrace has added the ablity to handle COLLADA files via drag and drop and from external URLs.
- A neat Three.js demo from Plus 360 Degrees: Car Visualizer.
- From AlteredQualia — some characters from Team Fortress 2, in Three.js.
- OpenGL’s immediate mode is inefficient and as such isn’t implemented in WebGL. But it can make prototyping easier, so here’s a demo by Alejandro Mosquera showing how you can use Evan Wallace’s lightgl library to emulate some of its features.
- Want a smooth page-turning effect in your web pages? Check out Ivan Kuckir’s Flipr.
- Chrome-only, but very cool: “ThreeAudio helps you create music visualizations in Three.js, by exposing audio data in GLSL shaders.” Demo here (takes a while to load, so be patient). (via badass javascript)

I know you’re probably busy, but we’re hungry for updates!
Very hungry!
Thanks, Mariuz — great link, that demo does look familiar from somewhere
I’m putting together a new post for tomorrow, but it won’t have much — just the stuff I’ve been emailed since the last one, and a few others I’ve seen. Unfortunately I’m just too busy right now to do much posting. Any recommended links much appreciated!
Hello, I have made a new Wloom game demo (now version 0.8), subtitle ‘Demon forest’. This time one has fight demons and survive. There is spooky environment, better sounds via freesound.org and a shotgun.
