Over at Clibe, we’ve been using WebGL for 3D display of our journals with a shader driven page turning animation.

  2. Great article. It’s good to see so many new projects starting up using webGL.

  3. GlowScript (glowscript.org) addresses the issue of making it possible for novice or nonexpert programmers to exploit WebGL to create real-time navigable 3D animations. At glowscript.org view the Examples and the simple source code for those examples. See the Help for details of the API. Recent additions to GlowScript include pixel-level transparency using depth peeling and picking using false colors.
